Lazy Summer Days

We've had some days where we could be just out playing around... this has to be one of the best things in the world...
Emily on her bike...Zachary in his car...Holy cow, Zachary graduated to helping wash the cars... He still has a baby cloth though, and daddy said he could only wipe the tires this time. But he really enjoyed the puddles and following Sister around!
And Emily graduated to using the hose!!! She was very excited.Emily made her way to the corner to play (not the time-out corner, another corner) and Zachary followed her close behind. Usually she fusses about him being right-in-her-space-on-top-of-her-she-can't-move-or-get-away, but this time they actually played nicely... for a few minutes.
Zachary on the motorcycle... not quite big enough, but he sure does like to try. (Yes, he's smiling and looking at the camera... but not really. I've learned the trick is to not let him see the camera, and then when he does something new/fun, he's immediately preoccupied and I have to be quick and SNAP before he knows what's coming...)Emily and Zachary playing together....
Zachary liked it just as much when Sister rode w/ him...
Oh boy, Zachary in Big Blue...Sure can't beat a tractor ride w/ Daddy...
Toys, who needs toys! Somewhere Emily piked up an organizational bug... because while momma likes to be organized, it's getting there that isn't so much fun. She must get it from daddy. His garage is awfully meticulous...

Do the kids get that car-washing stuff from both sides of the family?

Looks like lots of fun at your house. Emily can come to my house and organize our pairs of shoes anytime.
I am just an observer here but I believe her cousin Rebecca chooses the opposite approach. She takes shoes from the pairs lined up at the front door and returns them(one at a time) to their owner/s.

Zach looks pretty confident in that Jeep... he could be cruising Tittabawassee for chicks by next summer.
