Bubbles, a parade and a walk to check the broken bridge...
That's what Emily told me she and Zachary did at her latest sleepover to Busia's and Dziadzia's last weekend.
Momma and Daddy got to enjoy a very relaxing/no-planning-kind-of-day on Torch Lake. Daddy had that kind of day anyway. Momma was good until we got to our first launch site, and ended up in the middle of Elk Rapid's Harbor Days parade, and then our second launch site, which had turned into a private marina for new as-we-speak-condos-going-up. What a bummer. After the setbacks, we finally made our way to what is rumored to be the 3rd most beautiful lake in the world... I'm not well traveled, but the water is easily as beautiful as Hawaii's or the Caribbean... (of course it's not as warm), definitely Michigan's most beautiful water...
Back at the sleepover.... I got nothing from Busia and Dziadzia... like how Zach got that bruise on his cheek. From Emily I got pieces.... and then the pictures helped fill in some blanks...
for example...they did bubbles
And Zachary tried to help Dziadzia sweep the driveway...
And they had a parade... here Zach is getting ready w/ his pull-toy of choice... the turtle. I'm guessing Emily had the train. And if it's anything like when Emily was learning to parade w/ the pull-toys... the last person chosen gets humpty dumpty... but was that Busia or Dziadzia?? I'm not sure. Although I have to believe a parade in the driveway is better than circling the kitchen table 20 times...
It looks like Emily even helped w/ the dishes...and Dziadzia watched closely to make sure she's not using too much water.
And I'm guessing this is when they went to see if the bridge was still broken. Emily also filled me in that 'somebody' had an idea to take 'somebody's' picture by the Road Construction signs for Momma.... however no evidence of that was found.
I guess the excitement pooped Zach right out!
And Zach and Dziadzia sat and read books in Zach's favorite chair.... which has been around the world itself... or around the family anyway....I used to enjoy sitting it in it when it was a green-ish/turquoise-ish/vinyl-ish/dimpled-like-a -golf-ball-ish material.... then Nick had enjoyed it, and Jeff, Evan and Sarah, and now it's back full circle...(minus the green-ish/turquoise-ish/vinyl-ish/dimpled-like-a -golf-ball-ish material.)
Emily also told me (when prodded) that she visited Busia Rezler and the kitties, and Busia Wlodarczak, and went to church w/ Busia, Aunty Judi and Zachary... all this stuff has not been verified. And I still don't know how he bruised his cheek.

Sounds like Busia and Dziaz had a busy weekend!! Emily can come do my dishes any time!
Cobbler Ct.
I do believe I would have paid for the chance to see the dziadz in the driveway parade with or without Humpty-dumpty.
Also wasn't that greenish,turquoise-ish,vinyl-ish, dimpled like a golf ball-ish fabric indestructible? I was sure it was guaranteed to last for all the grand and great grandchildren...
I have video of the dziadz w/ Emily when it was a kitchen-table-parade... if I could only figure a way to post video.
I know how Zach got the bruise.
But, I'm not talking.
