Family fishing 2008

Yes, yes... long overdue once again.

Have lots to catch up on... so here we go.... starting w/ some late June visits to our favorite Great-Busias....












And then... Zach helped Dziadz w/ the yard work... not quite sure what happened here, but I know he didn't poke his eye out!












Finally, Aunt Tamara, Uncle Fred and Jess came to town!!!

And had lots of fun playing at Busia's house....












And we had a belated birthday dinner for Jessica... with her first ever homemade chocolate cake!Plans for the annual camping trip were changed so Momma could stress out about the upcoming super summer shin-dig celebration on July 5th.... instead, we took the day and went fishing to Tawas... (first time Momma ever got a fishing license!).... not sure anyone even saw a fish... but still had fun!!

Uh ya, Momma knows what's coming... someone has to put the worm on the hook....It took a while.... but I finally got it done!

Ya, by this time there were surely no fish... but we were still trying! I think this was pretty close to just taking the hooks off the poles and letting the kids cast... which turned out to be just as much fun!!

OK, what was supposed to be the nicest day of the week, turned into the coolest and cloudiest.... time for picnic lunch!!
