There's a new 3 year old in the house....
Zachary had a great birthday.... which started by helping momma w/ the sprinkles on the birthday cupcakes to take to school....
Emily was not so happy w/ Zachary doing the job that she usually is in charge of....
After school on 5/27, Daddy had Zachary's present waiting for him on the porch....first glance....
and here is the present.... along w/ a very very happy 3 year old...
Zachary got to choose his birthday dinner.... as this was the first time he got to make the choice, Momma started the question about 5 days in advance. Day 1: "Spaghetti." Zachary doesn't like spaghetti. He doesn't eat it most times we have it for dinner... Emily is our noodle girl....so Momma was a bit surprised. Day 2 through 5 Zachary was asked the same question... just in case he really didn't understand what was asked...and every day it was "spaghetti." SO, that's what Zachary had for his birthday dinner...(and the leftovers that were eaten a couple days afterwards..... "I don't like that. I don't want that.)

A. Tamara called just when Zachary was opening his "IT'S CARS" pjs....
Then we started playing w/ the new toys... he thought it was more fun to hit the t than the ball on his new t-ball set....

And apparently another tradition in the making of Momma w/ the babies on the birthday....
A. Judi brought Zachary this helium balloon which was the hit of Zach's party.... the string was just high enough for him to barely reach it...but he could jump, and jump... and jump...and I think there were a couple stands on the couch.... he got the biggest kick out of pulling it down, watching it float and "I CAN GET IT"....reaching up for it again. (As an aside, a week and a half later and the balloon is still floating strong! A day ago it was caught in the ceiling fan...which was quite devastating, but it survived!)
Time for cake!!
And more presents! Another favorite was this REALLY BIG truck...Zachary has now spent hours pretending to take the truck in the mud and then cleaning it up...just like Daddy....(minus the pretend part.)

And playing w/ A. Jennifer in his new jeep wheelbarrow.... and Emily w/ a new pictures w/ Paige and Taylor....

Hurray for 3 ! Hurray for Z ! Thanks for sharing the great stories, pictures and video !
Wow. What a great 3rd birthday Zach had. Seemed like one of the puppies wanted to play with some of his toys too. And the brand new bicycle was decorated so pretty that I almost didn't notice the beautiful floral arrangement on the front porch table. :) Happy Birthday Zachary.
