Princes and Princesses

Emily and Zachary's daycare holds a Christmas program every year. All the kids participate....

Last night as we got ready for bed, Emily was telling me how she had to wear a dress for the program. "Why" I asked... (just to hear her answer because of course she'll wear a dress!). "Because everyone's going to wear dresses."

"Everyone?" I ask. "Well, no, not the boys."

So I ask what the boys are going to wear. "They'll be like princes."

And the girls? "We'll be princesses."

And right before bed she asked me if I could get her Cinderella dress out so she could wear it.

Maybe next week... What a bummer but today the program was cancelled due to rain/snow/sleet/slush/ice/crappy weather.
