Mid-September Catch-up

Before we know it, September will be gone so we better start catching up!

Momma, Emily and Zachary still have our monthly playdates w/ Jean, Samantha and Alex. The most recent was 9/5/07. Jean had a jab for Momma and had Alex in an Appalachian State t-shirt. But she's about the only person who could do this, and it not really bother me... (ok, not REALLY, but maybe just a little.)

I think this visit was the first in 4 years that Momma and Jean actually got to do more visiting than watching/chasing/picking up/mediating. The kids do just great together!
Then, Daddy had a couple trips, one for fun and one for work. For fun he went jeeping to Drummond Island...While Daddy was gone, Momma, Emily and Zachary went to tailgate for Oregon where we enjoyed beautiful weather, walks, football (Zachary's version, not the Michigan version), family and food (not necessarily in that order.) We also enjoyed a short visit w/ Uncle Fred and Derek, but the Irish kids were a bit too shy to do any playing w/ Derek.Zachary works on his kicking game...And cuddle time w/ Busia...

The Irishes made it home just before kickoff, but had time for the annual flag picture...
