We made it through the rain...

we kept our world protected
we made it through the rain and kept our point of view
we made it through the rain and found ourselves respected
by the others who got rained on too

As we dodged raindrops again during our latest camping trip, Emily noted during one of our walks that "we made it through the rain"... and Momma's been singing Barry Manilow ever since.

This trip was to Glennie w/ Grandpa, Aunt Jennifer, Phil and it was to celebrate Josh's, Paige's and Taylor's birthdays. It was another rainy and cool trip, but we still made fun memories...

Zachary's blond hair and blue eyes stick out between Momma and Daddy, but holy cow does he fit right in the middle of Aunt Jennifer and Phil... And even though the weather was cool... apparently it wasn't too cool for the family's newest 13 year-olds to jump in the lake...Josh spent most of his time fishing... but Emily and Zachary had lots of fun playing w/ the girls.

Grandpa brought one of Daddy's first fishing poles to share w/ Emily and Zachary, and they had lots of fun casting and reeling...Emily even landed her first tree!
