Mother's day hugs...

My mom is a neverending song in my heart of comfort, happiness, and being. I may sometimes forget the words but I always remember the tune. ~Graycie Harmon

Emily and Zachary are so lucky to have lots of Grandmas, Busias and a Nana to share their hugs and kisses. We miss Grandma Carpenter and Grandma Irish, and Nana shared hugs a week ago, but on Mother's day we got to spend time w/ our Busias... how lucky to have 3!

Daddy made the grocery list and went shopping, and Momma, Emily, Zachary and Busia went to do some visiting... starting w/ Busia Rezler. At one point Emily was bouncing on the couch and Momma said "Emily, we don't do that on the furniture." And Busia Rezler just looked and said "At Busia's house, she can do that." Humph.

Then we went to share hugs w/ Busia Wlodarczak.... where there was much more spoiling by Aunty Judi...

Finally it was back to home where daddy was preparing a wonderful dinner. Momma got to just spend some time doing nothing...(as in the kids were napping and I got to just SIT and watch TV); there was no laundry or dishes or cleaning or anything chore-like.

It was a beautful day and when the kids woke up, momma got to play and enjoy being outside...
And then were joined by Busia and Dziadzia.

Zachary is speaking better every day... but he's at a stage where he doesn't really know "me" vs "you". Emily did the same thing... and it's really quite cute. Instead of saying "Momma carry me", he'll say "Momma carry you".... well, I think here he said "Take you for a ride" to Busia..
Busia didn't go very far until Dziadz chipped in to help. I think Zachary must've meant "Take me for a ride".
And then there was swinging.... It was just a perfect day!

I hope that Emily and Zachary always remember my tune... and that of our busias/nana/grandmoms!
