April showers bring May flowers...
The kids are getting so big that you almost can't see the crocuses anymore!!! 
Emily's room is studying weather this month (hence the showers and the flowers...)
Last week she brought home a weather chart they made at school. She can spin the hands to fall on the weather for the day: sunny, cloudy, snowy and rainy.... and she wrote all those words on her own! I didn't even know she could write all those letters let alone the words! She's great w/ "Emily", and we're working on "Irish", (however the darned small/capital letters are sure confusing!), but here she wrote all those words on her own! This project is definitely a keeper!
And it was finally time to christen the swing set for the year!!
Hmmm, momma wasn't home, daddy was taking the picture... who was holding Zachary on the ladder???

Except for the expression on Zach's face in last photo(perhaps he too just realized no one was holding him ) the kids look cheerful and ready for spring. Aren't we all?

My mother beat me to the punch as I was going to say, by the shear look of terror on his face, no one was holding him. Unless Emily was down there below the frame offering a steady hand!!
