Santa hit me one more time....

The last stop of the day was opening Santa's presents at Busia's and Dziadzia's.... talk about a couple tired pups!

Emily got an Aerial doll from Jessica... and more favorite books... even though you can't tell from the expression.
Zachary added to his Thomas collection... now if Momma would just get his room cleaned of baby gear, we'd have room for the big boy toys!!
Busia and Dziadzia got toys as well.... Busia the Polar Express movie...
and Dziadzia the Polar Express book....oh, and then there was a book about a horse named Chester...Zachary enjoyed some resting time.... I think he was even a little glad he was done w/ the unwrapping...
While Emily continued to help w/ everyone's presents....this was Dziadzia's book of over 40 years of Michigan memories that the middle generation put together...
Emily was definitely into the unwrapping... after helping Aunt Tamara, she took a break (was told to) becasue the toll of the day was getting to her...
But Zachary got a bit of a second wind... (well, maybe a 4th wind by this point). He sure finds the best things to play w/.... so much for all of Santa's neat gifts! After all the presents were opened, we headed home to sleep... present company included. What a long day! We even missed out on a visit w/ Busia Wlodarczak and Nana and Pa because Santa had us so busy all day!

Hopefully the New Year's day will allow me to catch up on the rest of the great week we had w/ Aunt Tamara!

A horse named Chester?!?!? Man, if that doesn't make you want to race down to an OTB to put down $10 to win, nothing will. That beats the heck out of Robert the Rose Horse!

Happy Birthday Maris! From your other Austin family.
