Isn't it spring yet???
OK. The calendar says it's spring what is the deal w/ the snow???!!!
Here's what we've been up to lately to occupy our time until the weather and the calendar catch up to each other and we can spend some quality time outside...(and what those of us lucky enough to be outside have been doing...)
Zach has found his comfort zone in the laundry basket. (In fact, if I could fit in one, I think that'd be my comfort zone too!) OK, so last weekend he realized the joys of hanging out in the basket. It slides really easily on the floor and he likes to get pushed around in it; he also likes us to throw his toys in to him, so he can throw them right back out!!!
Meanwhile, among Emily's other joys, she has recently taken to puzzles. Much like her momma, she really seems to love them! This Strawberry Shortcake one is her first "real" puzzle, (you know, doesn't come on a pre-formed board that you have to fit the pieces back on) and she loves it. She's been able to do it on her own for a few weeks now. Although she hasn't quite gotten bored of it yet, she did express that she thinks it's time we went to the store and got her another puzzle. Hmmm, ok. Maybe that's a good idea for the Easter Bunny.
And Daddy has been the lucky one to spend some time outside!! He's taken some time off from rebuilding jeeps #4 and 5 and took Little Blue out for some good ole fashioned mud flinging. (If you look really hard, that's Grandpa sitting in the passenger's seat.)
