Play time!

Emily and Zachary (and momma) had friends over to play today. Momma got lucky to have a friend (Jean) who had a daughter 4 1/2 months before Emily and also had a son 3 1/2 months after Zachary... (and oddly enough, she and I are 3 months apart in age.)

Here is Emily Rose w/ Samantha Rose....
After 3 years of play dates, they are finally starting to really play together (and not just playing kind-of-in-the-vicinity of each other w/ maybe a shared toy in between.) There used to be a large amount of warm up time required (usually on Emily's part), but now they look forward to the play dates (today everyone at daycare heard (several times I'm sure) that Jean, Samantha and Alex were coming over to play.)

And here's the two boys... Zachary and Alex. Except for the continual spit-ups by both of them, they did just fine sharing nearby space... well on their way to joining their big sisters!
