10 Days of Christmas...1 through 4

Emily and Zachary started their Christmas holiday celebrating w/ Grandpa. Daddy made a great steak dinner, but Momma had caught a flu bug. The kids though... LOVED Grandpa's presents. Zachary got a fire truck and ambulance complete w/ sirens and lights (that pretty much haven't stopped making noise since he opened them.) And Emily sure liked her Littlest Pet shop game!

The day after Grandpa's visit was time to make our favorite trip to the airport to pick up Aunt Tamara and on to days 2 through 4!!!

While Aunt Tamara figured out Busia and Dziadzia's new BIG screen tv (that you could watch from standing outside the house, and across the street), Emily and Zachary helped Busia bake cookies...
After that, Emily and Zachary helped Aunt Tamara make a gingerbread house...how can you beat anything w/ frosting!? And then it was time to frost the cookies at Busia's house....
Emily and Zachary were so silly to watch; more frosting ended up in their mouths than on the cookies... and oh the sprinkles! Here, Momma was keeping an eye on Zachary... because it was pretty common to have one hand on the cookie and one hand in the mouth. I had no idea Emily was in the shot...doing the exact same thing...
Mmmmm, mmmmm frosting!

Hmmmmmm...big screen TV able to be seen from outside the house and across the street..I guess E and Z's dziadz will now have a greater distance in which to pace back and forth during those tension-filled Michigan games. A gift/purchase both practical and yet healthy. I like that idea.
