Two birds w/ one stone..

Or two children w/ one bath...
Daddy had double duty last night so momma could take a little break. The bedtime routine is a little harder w/ two... (who am I kidding, isn't everything harder w/ 2?) so daddy took a short cut at bath time. I think they had fun splashing together, (although it's getting harder to keep Zach sitting in the tub.)

The rest of the routine is a bit easier. Zach never has napped much during the day, so he gets a bottle and falls asleep w/i minutes.... around 6:30. Emily then gets a few books and bed by 7:30. The only glitch lately has been the sun.... I suppose we were lucky through the first 3 summers and the light of day never bothered her. Or, maybe she just got smart enough to say "The sun is still out. It's not bedtime yet."

Oh yes it is... because momma gets ready for bed shortly after you... so it's definitely bed time, sun out or not!!
